Wow – I have so much to tell you! Last weekend was the May Cause Miracles retreat at Kripalu and I don’t even know where to begin because it was one of my most inspirational and impactful experiences of my life.
But first, I need to report on last week’s “try-it” experience. My “try-it” was a special Thursday edition. I wasn’t feeling well after my reunion and decided to press the pause button for my body. I did a mini juice cleanse before I left for Kripalu. One day…zero food. After my last post all about food (which I wrote on the day of my cleanse!) you’re probably thinking that I caved and stuffed my face. Let’s face it, this girl loves to eat! But, all juice all the time was much easier than I thought. I bought Blueprint juices at Whole Foods and got my juice on.
In the afternoon I did restorative yoga to stretch it out and assist the detoxing.
I felt amazing the next day and wanted to keep going for a few more days. And I wasn’t that hungry. Apparently juice can fill you up and sustain you. I had energy throughout the day, felt full and satisfied and most importantly, I felt great. I will definitely be juicing again.
